Here are some basic examples that work just fine if copied and pasted (while filling in the bracketed spots with real info) and can also be modified to work better in different situations.

Sounding robotic gives the aura of being a very tech savvy company, though the drawback is sounding too "corporate". It works fine for first impressions. Sounding too nonchalant may be unprofessional and give the impression we are lax about everything, but the plus to that is our company isn't just a "it's my job" corporation, but a corporation of people: a cooperation of people that are approachable and nice. Finding the right balance is important, but not anything to be too worried about and can be refined over time. I've had to learn this myself without help and am glad to help you start with the knowledge/experience I've acquired.

I would say nailing that balance is about setting clear expectations while being understanding and easy to work with. Format also says a lot about professionalism, so having a more relaxed response in a professional format works well.
