Mind Your Business

We want to create the best escape room experience in Utah. There are some things to note with your role here at Escape on 13th as one of its only managers. The following are what I value extremely highly here at Escape on 13th:

  • Good workplace culture

  • Continuous improvement

  • Business cost optimization/stability

  • Business revenue growth/stability

The last two are prerequisites to the first two. Business health is necessarily a prerequisite to good culture. If the business is struggling to bring in revenue or losing profitability, culture will suffer. In an extreme example, if Escape on 13th doesn't have enough profit, we will not have ability to hire anyone! Therefore, it is in the best interest of everyone at Escape on 13th to be the most profitable company we can, which means optimizing both costs and revenue.

Of course, as soon as we have a good foundation for profitability, I have tried to work on and optimize workplace culture and continuous improvement because they are extremely important to me. The impact Escape on 13th has on the world should be very positive.
